The WA Wedding Association is a not-for-profit volunteer-led organisation which aims to support, grow and develop the wedding industry in Western Australia.
Through innovation, training and advocacy we can work together to create stronger businesses and a more sustainable industry committed to creating unforgettable wedding experiences!
WAWA is dedicated to supporting and promoting the wedding industry and wedding vendors in Western Australia.
Our mission is to give the industry a voice, offering opportunities for like-minded businesses to expand networks, collaborate, socialise and find innovative solutions to the issues which impact the wedding industry.

As a member of WAWA, you are part of a community that values integrity, professionalism, and excellence. Our goal is to create a better experience for couples and a stronger community for wedding vendors.
The WA Wedding Association was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate wedding professionals, who saw the need for a unified body to represent and support our industry.
2026 saw a new leadership team take the reins, who made the decision to slash the membership price to make it accessible for as many people as possible.
Our focus is on networking events, professional development, and advocating for our industry in a way no one else can.

WAWA holds regular workshops and education sessions, designed to help you improve the sustainability of your business and implement best practice.
Sometimes we’ll chat to members about their experiences, at other times, we’ll call in the experts to tackle a particular topic.
If you can’t join us live, not to worry. These sessions are recorded and added to the WAWA library for members to replay at their leisure.

As an industry, we’re all passionate about delivering incredible events. But sometimes, it’s nice for us to simply hang out and spend time together.
From co-working sessions, networking opportunities and exclusive celebrations – our events calendar has something for everyone

The WA Wedding Association holds four General Meetings a year, roughly once every three months. One of these is the Annual General Meeting, where the office bearers are elected.
To make it easy for members to attend, these meetings are held online via video chat. All financial members are encouraged to attend.
These meetings are the best way to stay up to date with all things WAWA. You’re welcome to have your say about the events, priorities and decisions that define our industry.
